We expanded the number of KMU component institutions from 3 to 13, the number of seats from 300 to 2400, and the number of fields from 12 to 22. This exam is also required for our 170 associated institutions (KMU Family) that provide high-quality medical education throughout the province.
The KMU CAT 2022 was held in 13 province-wide centres (Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swabi, Swat, Dir, Malakand, Kohat, Bannu, Dikhan, and Kurram), with a total of 25,296 applicants (18342 male, 6954 female). The exam results will be available on the KMU official website within 72 hours (cat.kmu.edu.pk). We appreciate the collaboration and assistance of all partner institutions and government officials in performing the test in a peaceful and transparent way. The participation of almost 25,000 applicants in this test demonstrates trust in KMU and its connected institutions. This has given exceptional students the option to pursue careers in these sectors, which will eventually improve the general quality of the country’s health-care system. I.A (Insha Allah)
